How to Balance Your Chakras

The 7 chakra centers are spiritual energy centers that are connected to areas of the physical body. In Sanskrit the word chakra means “wheel”. You can think of chakras as wheels of energy. They are constantly moving in a circular motion.

Keeping your chakras balanced and open is the key to feeling healthy, vibrant and energetic. When your chakras are balanced, your energy is vibrating at a very high frequency which allows you to attract opportunities and magnetize your success more easily. The chakras are little understood.

Knowledge is power! It’s time for you to learn what the chakra centers represent so you can begin to heal them.

The Seventh Chakra – Outflow

The Pituitary Gland: OUTFLOW – SHARING

7th Chakra - OutflowIt is located between the eyebrows, just behind the forehead, and is associated with the brain and the eyes. It is called the third eye, and is responsible for inner vision or seeing on the screen of the mind. It is the center of outflow and giving. It has the color vibration white.

Outflow

Is the willingness to give your time, knowledge or skill to other individuals who need assistance. It is the ability to share with a true sense of abundance, freedom and detachment. This is the outflow, the expressed awareness of the abundant life that is available to all.

Most graphic representations of the chakras show them from the front, stacked up in a straight line. When you look at the body from the side, the energy centers are not stacked in a straight line at all, but in a U shape with the Inflow (Acceptance Chakra) at the base of the skull and the Outflow Chakra (Sharing) in the pituitary gland between the eyes. Energy flows in the Acceptance Chakra, down your spine to the Coccyx (Wants Chakra) and up the front of your body through the other chakras and out the Outflow Chakra.

A balance of Inflow and Outflow is essential for
your physical and spiritual well-being.

The Third Chakra – Needs

by Richard Lassiterneed-graphic

The amount of energy flowing through your third Chakra, the NEEDS chakra, affects the health of your reproductive system.

It is the center of all creative energies that bring ideas and thoughts into material form. Energies are released here to create inventions, artistic creations, buildings and products, as well as creating another human body. When energy is released from this center, it acts as a magnetic force to bring the thought … the desire, into material form.

The Second Chakra – Wants

2nd-chakraIn our last post I shared about Acceptance. What I failed to share is that I am going to write a series of articles related to your energy centers, (aka Chakras) and the concepts that allow your energy to flow at your full potential.

To regroup Acceptance, this is the Inflow chakra, the First Chakra and it is associated with the pineal glad located at the base of the skull. The percentage of energy that flows through this chakra is directly related to your self-acceptance. (See the last issues article on our blog – the articles related to the chakras can be accessed by clicking the Chakra category in the lower right column).

Knowledge of the Chakras has been around for a long time. My master (we had a master/apprentice relationship) channeled new, more accurate information about the relationship between our physical bodies and the flow of energy to and through them. He also developed consultations procedures that enable anyone to heal concepts that are blocking the flow of this energy: the 1003 series of profiles.

The Second Chakra is related to your WANTS.

Your “wants” the ability to identify and establish practical goals related to income, achievement, advancement, etc. Such goals lead the individual into a progressive state of unfoldment, well-being and satisfaction.

The First Chakra – Acceptance

2nd chakra gaphicby Richard Lassiter

ACCEPTANCE:
The ability to accept yourself as an individual, to accept other people as they are and to comfortably receive things, thoughts and feelings from others. It is the ability to see yourself and accept yourself as an essential part of the environment.
(From the Percentage of Balance in the Glandular System Profile)

I’m sure you know how important it is to love and accept yourself. So why is it that so many of us find it hard to accept ourselves just as we are? We tend to criticize and judge ourselves and in turn judge others. If you find it hard to love yourself, take comfort in the fact that you are not alone. It is a very common part of the human experience. The people who raised you probably didn’t accept themselves 100% and so this tendency was passed on to you. The good news is you can change this. It just takes a little practice and patience with yourself.
